A view from the same.
En route to the states recently my flight plan included a view of the famous Iceland volcano. The grey smoke cloud was so consistently thick the video I shoot looks like a still life image- with this said I preferred the still life image I shoot anyhow.

the folks new home sweet home.
The images below are of the room I branded as my own since it contains the furniture my great grandmother left me( I am her namesake. She was born in 1900 - died in 1998). I fear the day the wallpaper is removed and becomes boring walls of paint.
Sunrise: A Song of Two Human
While in New York a friend of mine invited me to an afternoon film at the Moma- Sunrise: A Song of Two Human. I can't not believe I had not discovered such a gem prior to this visit. Released in 1926 this silent film holds a beauty of relationships in the purest form and visuals unmatched by present day filmmakers. I have located a few stills but snap shoots do not do the film justice. One must witnesses it on the big screen. Just wait until you witness the montage of falling in love, women's heels jumping on velvet seat cushions or a stormy night in silence.
