the folks new home sweet home.

The images below are of the room I branded as my own since it contains the furniture my great grandmother left me( I am her namesake. She was born in 1900 - died in 1998). I fear the day the wallpaper is removed and becomes boring walls of paint.

Sunrise: A Song of Two Human

While in New York a friend of mine invited me to an afternoon film at the Moma- Sunrise: A Song of Two Human. I can't not believe I had not discovered such a gem prior to this visit. Released in 1926 this silent film holds a beauty of relationships in the purest form and visuals unmatched by present day filmmakers. I have located a few stills but snap shoots do not do the film justice. One must witnesses it on the big screen. Just wait until you witness the montage of falling in love, women's heels jumping on velvet seat cushions or a stormy night in silence.

An afternoon in moma.

Sunny Days of Travel

After being in rainy London the sun of Georgia was a much welcomed change. Broken days between Columbus and Atlanta.

A wander on the Highline

Even though the brilliant idea is not yet complete I could not wait to have a visit to the old raised railroad track turned city garden along the westside highway of New York. I have include a few images of my time spent there as well the views from above the westside.

Prior to my images have a view of one of the 2006 films produced when the idea was just evolving.

On another front - while in atlanta last week one my friends told me the Southern city has plans to do their own version.
